Bishop Victor Galeone and Two Happy Knights of our council
Bishop Victor Galeone visited our completely remodeled Saint Madeleine Church in High Springs Florida on January 9, 2011, to preside the solemn and beautiful concelebrated mass and dedication ceremony. A beaming Father Sebastian, several former pastors and other visiting priests concelebrated the mass.
The Knights of Columbus Honor Guard was the highlight of color and tradition, the Parish Building Committee, the Parish Council, Decorating and Landscape Committees and many others, including but not limited to ushers, sacristans, altar servers, lectors, eucharistic ministers, architect, contractors and subcontractors were thanked and praised by Co-Chairman of the Building Committee Richard Williams and by Father Sebastian.
Local dignataries, including the Mayor and a representative of the Police Department of High Springs, as well as other invitees, accompanied the jubilant parishioners on such momentous occasion and to a succulent sit-down dinner in our beautiful Family Center after the mass.
